Happy Monday!
I hope you all are feeling well today.
One of my instructors in college, Sheila always encouraged us to take on Monday with a positive attitude, and I’ve made a valiant effort to do so. I hope that I can inspire you to do the same.
I always love to start my day with music; it sets a great tone and provides some caffeine-free energy (not that I don’t enjoy my coffee from time to time). I am often complimented on the music that I play at work. It is so affirming to know that my clients enjoy more than just the massage during their time in my clinic room; atmosphere is more important than we give it credit for.
In many cases, clients ask about a specific song because it is something that they are uncharacteristically drawn to, or they like the sound of the artist’s voice.
I thought it would be nice to start off Mondays by sharing bits of my playlist with all of you, specifically songs that have received praise in the past (from what I can remember), or songs that just make me happy.
Today I would like to share a song by a wonderful folk artist from Ontario, Canada. I first stumbled upon this song, Heart of My Own by Basia Bulat a few months ago on a Songza (RIP) playlist and immediately fell in love with it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Have a wonderful week,
Randi
