Good afternoon! There are several changes and updates being made to existing policies in the near future; please read these updates carefully as they will have an effect on upcoming appointments.
Addition to Cancellation Policy
I hesitate to call this an update as the cancellation policy remains the same in that all cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will incur a 50% fee. This applies to all instances which involve the client contacting the clinic or myself to cancel within 24 hours of their appointment, whether through call, text or the Square online booking system.
The new amendment to this policy regards “no-shows“, or failure to attend an appointment without making any attempt to contact the clinic or myself. In the event of a no-show, the full cost of the appointment will be charged.
This policy is meant to discourage anyone from failing to give notice of absence to their appointments. Calling ahead provides me with the opportunity to contact another client on the cancellation list and also demonstrates your respect for my time which I greatly appreciate. If you are unable to get through to the clinic, always leave a voicemail so that we know you made an attempt to contact us. To summarize:
Cancellation with more than 24 hours notice: No fee.
Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice: 50% fee.
Failure to show up with no attempt to contact ahead of time: 100% fee.

Update to Square Appointment Confirmations & Reminders
By popular request (and a few light-hearted complaints), I have decided to make a change to confirmations and reminders for Square appointments. Currently the system automatically sends a confirmation 3 days prior and a reminder 24 hours prior to appointments, often via both text and e-mail.
Many of you have expressed that, in addition to the initial message received at the time your appointment is booked, the number of Square notifications seems excessive.
As of February 1st, 2020 I will set Square to send one combined confirmation/reminder 2 days (48 hours) prior to your appointment. This will not affect the cancellation policy; it will remain that 24 hours notice is required to avoid the cancellation fee.
If you do not wish to receive appointment reminders at all, or if you have not been receiving them but would like to, please let me know so I can update your settings.
Price Increase
A price increase is scheduled for March 1st, 2020. New prices will be as follows:
Minimal charge: $25.00
30 minute massage: $55.00
45 minute massage: $70.00
60 minute massage: $80.00
75 minute massage: $90.00 *new*
90 minute massage: $120.00
All prices include GST.
